The Whispers are going to New York City to perform on Broadway!

We want to thank and express congratulations to all of the incredible groups that competed alongside us at the Midwest Semifinal. It was such a blast to share all of our hard work right here at WashU. In addition to taking home the first place trophy, we're incredibly proud of our very own Eden Diamond for winning Best Choreography!

As the winners of our semifinal round, we will be advancing to the ICCA Finals at the Beacon Theatre with the rest of this year's top 10 a cappella groups internationally. Wish us luck!

  • Spring Break 2016: San Diego, CA

    By Webmaster / Sunday, March 20, 2016 - 15:32

This spring break, the Whispers snuck away from cold and clammy St Louis to explore the beach! San Diego never saw us coming. We loved performing for a new audience, and we really loved a chance to get a little rest and relaxation at the edge of the Pacific.

Special shoutout to the families of Nathan Wetter and Jeremy Sandler, who graciously allowed us to mob their houses for a few days!

Check out some pictures from our trip!

  • 2016 ICCA Quarterfinals

The Whispers recently competed at one of the 2016 ICCA Midwest Quarterfinals, held at Missouri State University. We faced incredible competition--seeing each of the other groups perform was a delight, as each brought something exciting to the table. For this reason, it was a great honor to have won First Place! In addition, our beloved Music Director Katie Greenberg won Best Arrangement for her arrangement of Sia's "Elastic Heart". We can't wait to bring our ICCA set back to St. Louis for semifinals at WashU on April 30th!

The Recorded A Cappella Review Board is an internationally-recognized organization that reviews recent releases in the a cappella world and its reviewers are known for their breadth of a cappella experience and wisdom--which makes us feel honored to receive four out of five overall stars for our newest studio album, Wavelength! "Sonically-styled to crisp perfection, [Wavelength] arrives with a deep lineup of superb soloists," proclaims one reviewer. "The Mosaic Whispers have just about nailed it," writes another. "Even the cover art has a futuristic elegance that makes this album pop!" (thanks to our in-house graphic designer, Jeremy Sandler!). If you'd like to hear it for yourself, our album is available on Spotify and iTunes! Check out RARB's review on their website here.

Update: Wavelength was also nominated for 5 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards, and "Interlude" was selected as a RARB Track of the Year!
